6 months

Dear Lennon:

I can't believe you are six months old. I know I say that every month, but I am amazed at how quickly you are growing. Some things about you at six months.
Things you like:
Cooper
being tossed in the air by your daddy and working with him on his computer
riding around in the sling
nursing
biting my chin
your signing time dvd (you LOVE this!)
when PawPaw makes his bird calls for you
paper, magazines, mail etc.

Things you do not like:
your carseat (is there still hope that you will grow out of this?)
having clothes pulled over your head at bedtime
being read to (hoping this will change too)
sitting still for too long (get that from your daddy)

At your checkup you weighed 16 pounds 10 ounces! That's nearly twice what you were when you were born. You are also 27 inches long!

You are starting to babble more and do this ridiculously cute thing where you stick your tongue all the way out and try to blow bubbles.

You are sleeping SO much better than last month. We are grateful. You now do most of your sleeping in your own room now. I miss you in our room, but I think we are all doing well with our new arrangements.

You make me laugh every day. You are snuggly when you are sleepy, but other than that you like to be on the move. You don't have any teeth yet (totally ok with me!), but you are working on it. You are sitting up well on your own, and I have a feeling you will be on the move soon.

I love being your mommy and am so thankful God has given me that opportunity.
